OUR NOVEMBER NIGHT OUT IS SOON! That screaming headline is meant to alert you that our Night Out in November comes early in the month. Since it is a ticketed event and tickets often sell out, you'd be wise to buy yours online as soon as possible.

First Friday Fractals is the award-winning full-dome planetarium show that takes viewers on a tour of the fractals in nature and zooms through infinitely complex mathematical fractals. Featuring original music, the show is both educational and highly entertaining. It is hosted by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science  and the Fractal Foundation.

Shows last slightly less than an hour. I chose the 6:00 p.m. show so we can go for coffee and a snack afterwards at the Golden Crown Panaderia at 11th Street and Mountain Road. Golden Crown is an iconic, family-owned neighborhood bakery operating since 1972, famous for its unique New Mexican baked goods and pizza.

Please register on our website and then buy your ticket online ASAP. This should be a fine evening of fascinating fractals and sumptuous snacks -- hope you'll join us!
