CiQlovia Street Fair: Volunteers Needed

  • Sunday, October 18, 2026

CiQlovia is Albuquerque’s own version of the global open streets movement—a car-free, family- friendly celebration of movement, community, and wellbeing. For one day, city streets transform into vibrant public spaces where people can walk, bike, roll, dance, and play together. With interactive booths, local resources, live music, and plenty of fun along the route, CiQlovia invites everyone to experience our streets not just as roads, but as places for connection and joy.

This is a great opportunity to introduce New Mexico Humanists to the community and answer questions from people who’ve heard of us but don’t know much about who we are. We're planning to staff an information booth and hand out materials from the national organization, and we need volunteers from the Albuquerque group to help staff the booth and talk with visitors.

Beyond the booth, there are also opportunities to volunteer directly with the CiQlovia event team.

To volunteer at the Albuquerque humanists booth, contact Jayde Donnelly: Jayde_Social@protonmail.com (503) 206-9341

Our Mission

Humanists New Mexico, aka the Humanist Society of New Mexico, is a statewide 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. While our leadership and meetings are in Albuquerque, we eagerly support efforts to form satellite groups. We strive to provide a community where everyone may learn about and share humanist principles in a friendly, respectful and joyful environment.
